Philosophy
"Every kiln opening is a small surprise. The glaze decides the last ten percent, and that is the part I love."
I started with clay in 2023 as a way out of burnout. What I found was a slower rhythm: reclaimed clay, patterns pressed from leaves and carved stamps, glazes layered until they run. The pieces are functional, but they are made to be looked at as much as used.

Throw & build
Mugs and cups are thrown on the wheel; dishes are slab-built and shaped with scalloped and flower moulds.

Texture & stamp
Rollers, carved stamps and stencils press pattern into the soft clay. Some are found on my travels, most I design and print in the studio.

Glaze & fire
Midfire glazes are layered so they flow into the ridges. Mahogany clay shows through at the foot.
